Gearhead Dad Greeting Card

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first video blog post!! I made this video a few months ago but I'm finally turning them into blog posts. I'm super excited to show you how I made this rustic background for my dad card. This card makes a great Father's Day or dad birthday card.

Card Dimensions:

White card base- 4.25 inches tall x 11 inches wide (scored and folded at 5.5 inches)

Blue card layer- 4 inches tall x 5.25 inches wide

Water color paper layer- 3.75 inches tall x 5 inches wide

Dad letters- 1.5 inches tall

Blue inner layer- 4 inches tall x 5.25 inches wide

White inner layer- 3.75 inches tall x 5 inches wide

Supplies:

White heavy weight cardstock ( I use 110 lb by Neenah or Stampin' Up)

Blue cardstock

Water color paper

Black cardstock

White cardstock (inner layer)

Hot Off the Press- Gears embossing folder

Distress Oxide Ink- Rusty Hinge

Distress Oxide Ink- Weathered Wood

Distress Oxide Ink- Chipped Sapphire

Ranger- ink blending tool

Squirting/ misting water bottle
