4 Ways to Troubleshoot Print & Cut in Silhouette Studio

Are you struggling with those print and cut projects? Does it cut in the wrong place? Before you throw your Silhouette against the wall, try these 4 ways to troubleshoot print and cut in Silhouette Studio.

This is the fourth and final installment of the print and cut mini-series. I thought it would be fitting to leave you with 4 more tips on getting that perfect cut.

Tip 1:

Turn off the machine and slide the blade back and forth 3 times. This helps it recalibrate to the beginning. It might be a bit difficult the first time you try to slide the blade housing, but it will get easier with time.

Tip 2:

Restart Silhouette Studio. Don’t make any changes to your page and save your work to your library or hard drive. You might want to also consider restarting your computer. Sometimes this is just the ticket.

Tip 3:

Update the firmware, you can learn how to do that here.

Tip 4:

Update the software, you want to be in the latest 2-3 versions for the best outcomes.
