How to Design a Birthday Shaker Card in Silhouette Studio

Birthday cards are always good to have on hand. I like to make multiples of cards in different colors so I’m ready for that last-minute card occasion. Today, I’ll show you how to design a quick birthday shaker card in Silhouette Studio. Once you understand the basic steps of making a shaker card you can easily take these skills and make different variations of this card.

Shaker cards are really fun to make and add a special element to ordinary cards. If you’re not wanting a lot of bulk to the card use sequins, glitter, or other flat objects inside the shaker element. If you are adding beads or other bulky items inside the shaker be prepared to use foam or multiple layers of the cutout to make room for the shaker elements.
