Cozy Cottage Christmas ornament

Have you been looking for a new ornament to add to your tree or give as a gift?

I'm always on the hunt for a special ornament to add to my collection. This year I thought it would be fun to make my own. Thus, the creation of the cozy cottage ornament. This design started as a pop-up box card last year that never got completed in time.

When I picked it back up last month, the box card idea didn't feel as exciting, so I took those same elements and turned them into this adorable ornament.

The ornament is basically the scene of my dream house. A cozy cabin in the woods surrounded by trees, blanketed in a lovely layer of white.

Making this ornament was quick and easy, the file is built to make the ornament about 4.25 inches round and is 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock friendly.

Supply List:

-Cutting Machine

-Cozy Cottage Christmas Ornament File

-Cardstock, 110 lb and 65 lb

-Glue

-Foam Tape

-Ribbon or String

I cut each base layer out of 110 lb cardstock and I cut 2 copies of each of those and glued them together. The rest of the colored pieces are made from 65 lb cardstock.

Here is the video assembly:

Happy Creating!
