DIY badge reels

Raise your hand if you have to wear an ID badge at work. As a nurse, it is imperative that people can see my badge to read to my name and know my role in their care.

My badge does more than just identify who I am, it also gives me access to places throughout the hospital. Since this is part of my uniform, I like it to share some of my personality. Today I'm going to show you how to make your own badge reels using the print and cut feature in silhouette studio.

Supplies you'll need:

-Glossy photo paper

-Scraper or anything with a hard edge (I'm using my bone folder)

-E6000 glue

-Epoxy dome stickers

-Bottle caps made for crafting

-Badge reels

-Silhouette machine

-Printer

These don't take too long but be aware there is a fume warning on the glue. I wasn't able to have my windows open while filming and the smell was no worse than a sharpie marker.

Check out the video for all the details.

If you need more help with print and cut check out this post.
